Présentation of the résidence
Located in between Porto Vecchio and Bonifacio, the Santa Monica Residence welcomes you from May to September in a fantastic country setting. Driving on a small panoramic road through the bush, you will arrive to our peaceful property which is an ideal place to relax.
Our ten houses are built on a 4 hectares site and they guarantee to our guests privacy and modern comfort.
The Residence has also common spaces where to socialize: a reception where to get information about the region, a living room where to have a drink or eat an ice-cream, a beautiful swimming-pool with waterfall on rocks and surrounded by sun beds. The site is also a really good spot to contemplate the breathtaking coastal landscape and the Rondinara bay.
Only a few-minute drive from Santa Monica, the Rondinara bay is often named to talk about its beauty and serenity. With its shell form, its limpid waters with turquoise glints, with its reddish rocks and its fine-sand beaches, it makes you easily feel like you reached an exotic destination. It’s a perfect place to simply sunbath during the children play and swim safely, to go fish-watching or to ride a pedal boat. As a part of the “Réserve Naturelle des bouches de Bonifacio”, the Rondinara bay has been well-preserved and is still relatively wild. To eat there, you will find a Snack-restaurant-crêperie, where you can also hire pedal boats, kayaks, anchorage buoys and “paillottes” with sun beds.
The Santa Monica Residence is about 15 km-far from both Porto Vecchio and Bonifacio. Bonifacio captivates the visitors with its Genova-type fortress, its harbour, its limestone cliffs and its boat excursion to the Lavezzi Islands. In Porto Vecchio you will find numerous restaurants and businesses for shopping. But to buy just a few things, you will be able to go to the grocery shop in the campsite near the residence, and even to order bread and croissants to the Santa Monica reception.
